St. Mark Church at 1016 N. Hyatt , Monticello, AR 71655 US - Our Local 'Global' Community

Our Local 'Global' Community

Our local Catholic community celebrates our diversity. We are a good example of what the famous Irish novelist James Joyce meant when he said of the Catholic Church: "Here comes everybody!"

We have members of various races and ethnic groups who trace their origins to many different countries. We also have representatives of several language groups.

People from many different parts of the world and from many different cultures feel welcome in our Church.

Here are some of ways we celebrate our diversity.
• Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe: our Hispanic connections
• St. Patrick's Day: our Irish connections
• St. Joseph's Day: our Italian connections
